Investment Announces First Quarter Financial Statements and Lease
Agreement for New Store
San Diego, CA May 16, 2008
– Frontera Investment, Inc. (OTC:FRNV) announced today that it
has posted its first quarter 2008 financial statements to Pink
Sheets Issuer Services that can be located at www.pinksheets.com or
the Company's website at www.fronterainvestment.com. Pink Sheets has
created a new categorization system to alert investors about the
ability and willingness of individual issuers to provide adequate
public disclosure in a timely manner. This filing maintains the
Company's rating at the second highest category rating regarding
issuer disclosure, and the Company will be working toward further
filings to ensure that it achieves the highest category possible.
Frontera entered into a lease agreement for a new store in Dinuba
(Sonora), California with California Gold Development on May 12,
2008. The center is anchored by Walmart and is located in an
agricultural area with heavy Hispanic employment. The store is
expected to open in August 2008.
The Hispanic market is currently estimated at 40 million consumers,
half are un-banked. About 35 percent of the total US households are
un-banked or use alternative financial services companies.
